A timeless classic. Firm, meaty sardines are gently preserved in quality olive oil, allowing their rich, savoury flavours to develop beautifully. Simple, elegant and deeply satisfying, this is French conservas at its most traditional.
Serving Suggestion
Serve simply on crusty bread with good butter and cornichons, or enjoy alongside steamed potatoes and a crisp green salad.
Wine Pairing
A Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc complements the richness of the fish beautifully, while a Margaret River Chardonnay provides lovely texture and balance.
